# E-mailadres instellen in Thunderbird

Thunderbird is een van de meest gebruikte e-mailprogramma's. Je downloadt dit programma gratis van de [Mozilla-website](http://www.mozilla.org/nl/thunderbird/).

## Configuratie

- Kies voor 'Handmatige config'. 

Vul bij 'Inkomend:' in:

- 'IMAP'.
- De (inkomende) IMAP-server is: 'mail.sitehosting.nl'
- Poort: 993.
- SSL: SSL/TLS.
- Authenticatie: Normaal wachtwoord.

Vul bij Uitgaand: in:

- De (uitgaande) SMTP-server is: 'mail.sitehosting.nl'
- Poort: 587.
- SSL: STARTTLS.
- Authenticatie: Normaal wachtwoord.
- Vul bij 'Gebruikersnaam:' je volledige e-mailadres in. 
- Klik op 'Account aanmaken'.
- Haal je e-mail op met de knop 'E-mail ophalen'
